Home for the Holiday!

Today I came home for some good ol' Thanksgiving dinner, possibly my favorite meal of all time. Watching the Lions get whooped on today I was disappointed, then they started to rally a comeback, but then fell short so I was again disappointed. Even though they lost, I still found some things today that I am thankful for. For starters, my family, well because I love them. Two, I get to go to Florida in a couple of weeks for Christmas to visit my sisters, nieces and nephews. In case anyone was wondering, yes, I do plan on teaching my nephews, possibly my niece depending on how far her talking has come along, the Oh-Eh. I will get pictures and post them on here, don't worry. Something else I'm very thankful for are my friends. Most especially my camp friends. Such as MLA, KMFP, Dump, McBest, Daddy, Kit, Gallagher, the girl he calls Yank, many more. Even the one most people think I shouldn't be thankful for anymore or appreciate. Well, if you know me, I still am thankful, and I still do appreciate. I'm also thankful that one of my best friends from childhood, David, is back on leave from Iraq and I get to hang out with him tomorrow. Unfortunately, he is going back for a couple more years, starting Saturday. I'll miss him of course and be worried, but hey, he is doing what he wants. I've known this guy since I was about 5 and ever since I've known him he has been obsessed with the army. Everytime we would go over his house he would dress up in camo and want to play army, a majority of halloweens he would go as a soldier. I know people always in their childhood say they want to be a pro athlete, or an actor, or president when they grow up. That never happens. But with him, it did, he always said he wanted to be in the army, and he stuck with it. For that I am proud of him. I don't support the war or anything it stands for, but I will sure as hell support my friend when he is over there. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Oh-Eh,
Kal El
